How is this item used:

If you have a device(lets say a Raspberry PI) with rear-or sidefacing connectors that you want mounted in a thingsINrack kit, then this chassis cable connector can enable access to the connector and now facing forward in the rack profile next to the main devices(Raspberry PI). The cable between the male connector and the female chassis connector is about 23cm/9,05 inches. Raspberry was just an example, it can be used for endless applications, for example together with items:

– Philips HUE
– Lutron gateways
– UniFi cloudkey devices
– IKEA dirigera gateways
– Arris fiber modems
– etc
